Believe

At its core, DubHacks represents more than a hackathon. It represents a belief that we have the responsibility and opportunity to empower and enrich humanity. This fundamental value is at the center of everything we do. By connecting people and new perspectives, we promote inclusion, diversity, and accessibility. Our guiding principles are the reason we aspire to make this world a better place. In this process we build for problems worth solving, together.

Connect

From the beginning, DubHacks has been focused on bridging together people and ideas to create new solutions. In our first two years, we have grown to over 600 participants. We are using this widespread reach to focus our mission on connecting individuals at the intersection of social advocacy and technology. We ingrain a sense of purpose into DubHacks to inspire individuals to develop creative tools that can be used tackle society’s biggest issues. Individually we only accomplish so much, but together through collaboration and innovation, we will impact the lives of many more.

Build

We are all different people from different places. Our perspectives make us diverse and our collective backgrounds make us stronger. This reflects the unique way we shape the DubHacks community, similar to the way participants build projects at DubHacks. This year we are bringing not only sponsors, but nonprofit organizations into our community. As a sponsor, you will not only build brand awareness, but interact with over 650 students through recruitment and gain feedback on products. By sending mentors, you will assist with exposing and integrating your technology into student projects. Most importantly, you are joining us to motivate and cultivate the next generation of social visionaries.
